Google Gadgets Galore!

There are many reasons I love to search the many different blogs that can be found on BlogCatalog; a wonderful site that allows blog writers (including myself) the opportunity to gain more exposure while enjoying the support of a wonderful blogging community.

One of the top reasons I love checking out other people's blogs is that in doing so I get new innovative ideas, and learn about new things I can add to my blog to improve and enhance it.

And recently, I was happy to find that:

Google just keeps getting better and better.

Yes, I recently discovered that Google has a wide variety of widgets that you can add to your blog site. I just added their inspirational widget to my main home page.

"Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing."
- Abraham Lincoln

This was one of the best widgets I could have added to my blog to date. Every time I click on my blog there is a new, wonderful, insightful, inspiring quote to help propel me forward toward making all my dreams a reality.

Check out Google Gadgets now! With over 42,000 widgets to choose from, you are sure to find something great to add to your blog, website or profile page. And, from the picture it appears that Google is now showing gadget stats as well. Way to go Google!

How Many Blogs Would... ?

You never know where you're going to find some of the most intriguing, important, and helpful information. For example, I love shifting through the many blogs that can be found at BlogCatalog.com. In doing so, I can learn about ways to make money online, shop for the best bargains, experience another person's trip down memory lane and learn how to live a greener lifestyle.

Because I often do not have enough time to read into everything I come across, part of what I love about having a blog is that I can catalog the sites and organize them in categories that makes sense and allow me easy, convenient access to explore them when I do have the time.

Oftentimes I used to see something I was interested in and thought I know I'll have time for that at another point in my day, week, etc, but never had a place to store them. I figure that some of the things I'm interested in reading more about, so too will my readers. So why not check out some of the links I have added to this blog? I add subject relevant articles, blogs, and websites to their matching categories. I add additional links on-going as I find links of interest!

Blogs Galore!

It's amazing how many great blogs there are on the internet these days. I signed up with BlogCatalog a site that, as it sounds, catalogs various blogs that meet with its standards. Some of those standards are number of posts, how long your blog has been around, relevant information, etc. I am proud to say that Make The Most of Your Time has been approved and is a part of this great website community. And, I am loving exploring the site.

Being new to the blogging world, I felt nervous about publishing my work in a larger forum, however, the BlogCatalog community is highly supportive and becomes the strength and foundation you need to further build your writing confidence.

Within my searches on BlogCatalog, I have found many great blogs that I continue to link to my various relevant "Make The Most... Categories". Check out the latest great blog I found that will help provide you with more blog tips:

Increase Your Views

Are you interested in increasing your blog views? Please take the time to check out the many links I have, and continue to add to this page. In addition, I just discovered a new site called BlogUpp!.

While I have signed up for many different "increase your view" sites, BlogUpp! is unique simply because all it requires you to do is submit your blog site url and add its html code. Most sites I have signed up with require you to fill out a full profile information page which can be time consuming when you are trying to sign up for multiple sites.

The html graphic that displays on your page from BlogUpp! will rotate and show various blogs from other users who have signed up with the site. This is exactly how others will see your site. The way BlogUpp! works is that the site takes snapshots of your blog and then for every 10 people who view your site, they will show your blog to 9 other viewers. Simple and sweet.

Focus Makes All The Difference

When I have time, I try to research the best blogging tips I can find. Yesterday I read about a very important factor that will help to increase your blogging views.

According to what I learned, focus is very important. It is actually quite crucial to your success as a blogger. An article stated that, it is good to have an easily identifiable focus, one that a reader will be able to understand instantly. This is my first real blogging attempt and while I have many categories, my central focus is "Making the Most of Your Time".

If things are starting out slowly for you, be patient. Success takes time to build, but with time and perseverance your vision and dreams will be realized!
